About 

Harrison Currin is a second-year Ph.D. student in Geography and Environment at UNC Chapel Hill. He holds an M.S. in Applied Geography from Georgia Southern University and a B.S. in Biology from Elon University. Harrison's research leverages remote sensing, modeling, and GIS to explore ecological dynamics in coastal systems. His current projects include studying multi-decadal vegetation shifts in the Albemarle-Pamlico Sound, assessing disturbance impacts like wrack on vegetation, and classifying Georgia’s tidal marshes using high-resolution imagery.
